Receiver Range Plot: ADS-B Signals

The map below represents the range of the ADS-B receiver at different altitudes. Since the antenna is located in a valley, aircraft traveling at lower altitudes can only be seen at closer distances. Higher altitude aircraft can be seen farther. Only actual ADS-B broadcast positions are used for this range plot. MLAT positions are not factored. This range map is automatically updated every 30 minutes.

Note: The absolute maximum range of my receiver is about 300nm. This range map may show distances farther than that - they are most likely erroneous, which can sometimes happen.
